GEODETIC ENGINEERING / GIS SPECIALIST
at International Staffing Registry Inc. in Oman
International Staffing Registry would like to invite graduates of Geodetic Engineering / Geomatics / Science or equivalent for the following job openings (Principal: Globnet, LLC) in Oman:
GEOMATICS/GEODETIC ENGINEERING SPECIALIST - In depth knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Topographic Map Production Techniques. A minimum of 5 years experience in designing specifications, planning, execution and QA/QC procedures of GIS and digital mapping process. Kowledge of digital mapping products and their applications.
GIS SPECIALIST - Knowledge of GIS and digital mapping handling, standard GIS software such as Arc GIS and Intergraph MGE Geomedia, GIS related software programming. Minimum of 5 years experience of GIS mapping projects and data management
GIS TECHNICIANS - Knowledge of standard GIS software packages, digital image interpretation techniques using satellite images and aerial photography, creation and editing of digital mapping data and to manage production of various data products. Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and reports generation.
PHOTOGRAMMETRY SPECIALIST - Good knowledge of digital photogrammetric systems and standard software such as Leica LPS, SOCET SET. Deep knowledge of aerial traingulation, DEM and orthophoto generation, digital mapping and QA/QC procedures. Minimum of 5 years experience in related field.
CARTOGRAPHER - In-depth knowledge of creation of cartographic database using various digital cartographic software. Be able to design, structure and manage the data to generate various mapping and GIS data products. Knowledge of QA/QC procedures.
GEOMATICS COMPUTER ANALYST - Graduate of Computer Science or equivalent. In-depth knowledge of languages C++, Oracle, SQL server, database creation and administration, software development and network support. Knowledge of working in Geomatics / Geodetic Engineering environment is preferable.
