This IT Director will be responsible for IT Infrastructure and Operations for our projects in Saudi Arabia. Operations Director will assume a critical role in the 24 × 7 support of several sites throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This individual must possess the experience, service orientation, and knowledge of technology required to run and monitor a reliable, high performance and secure front office and back office operational infrastructure that is critical to the company’s success.
This role reports directly to the GM and will be responsible for several account teams of infrastructure technical staff and managers. This is a critical position; the hired director will be expected to contribute at a senior level and to add strategic value to the operation, profitability and growth of the company. The individual selected should have a broad base of experience not only in IT Operations but other functions in IT as well.

In addition to the expected set of responsibilities typical responsibilities will include:

• Building an IT Operations function including organization, core business processes and operational procedures.
• Engineering and Operating an appropriately structured LAN/WAN with security, IP Telephony and IPTV infrastructure
• Operating several Data centers with several technology such as Cisco network switches, Cisco IP Telephony systems, Windows and Unix/Lynx based servers, Data storage systems, as well as A/C, UPS and other Data Center utility systems.
• Implementing ITIL type processes including building a service management infrastructure.
• Identifying the correct set of operations service metrics

• Identifying core cost drivers and driving to agreed-upon continuous improvement in cost structure.

Required Skills

• 15+ years overall experience in IT at a senior management level with Fortune-1000 Company or equivalent with responsibilities in IT Operations function in areas such as Networks, communication systems, security systems, IP Telephony, IPTV and data centers.
• Proven ability to build teams.
• Experience interacting with executive management and customers.
• In-depth understanding of IT processes and procedures.
• Experience in a large enterprise, demonstrating familiarity with world-class, large-scale IT operations.
• Must be nimble and able to adapt to change quickly.
• Experience developing and tracking IT metrics.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a multi-million dollar budget.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Graduate degree preferred.
