JOB DESCRIPTIONS
(Engineering)
1. Senior or Principal Software Engineers – AdPulse ( C++, C#, and SQL)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This person will have responsibilities for the specification, design, implementation, and maintenance as a member of the SeaChange AdPulse Video On Demand Advertising product team.
This person will also be expected to work cross functionally within SeaChange and externally with customers and technical partners.
The AdPulse system is a distributed client/server solution that provides full management and real-time insertion of Ads into Video On Demand content.
The candidate hired for this position should have experience using object-oriented technologies. The primary development tasks will be in C ++, C#, and SQL on the Microsoft Windows platform.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIO N REQUIRED:
The candidate will have the following qualifications:
• For Principal level: 8+ years experience with full software product life-cycles including specifications, design, coding, testing and debugging.

4. Senior Software Engineers – Customer Engineering
Responsibilities:
SeaChange is looking for a strong engineer to fill a role in its Customer Engineering (CE) team. This group works with the Service and Development Engineering organizations to ensure proper resolution of complex
post-deployment issues at SeaChange customer sites. In this process, the CE group also supplements product knowledge and extends the monitoring/diagnost ic
capability of the SeaChange Services team, with the ultimate goal of better serving its loyal customer base.
This key role requires a detail oriented professional who can participate in and manage the release cycle of software patches/updates. The candidate
will also be constantly challenged to increase their knowledge of an expanding product set incorporating a wide range of new technologies by analyzing, troubleshooting, and finding solutions for customer issues/problems.

II. Senior Web Developer (with FMS)
We are currently seeking a Senior Web Developer with heavy knowledge of Flash Media Server (FMS), Actionscript 2/3, and someone who has an extensive background in developing multimedia applications and websites.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Flash Media Server based web sites and applications, using both pre-encoded and live streams.Develop in Adobe Flash CS 4 and ActionScript interactive applications to prototype various user interface elements. These prototypes will then be used to gather customer

IV. Senior Software Engineer – Application/ Content
SeaChange’s TV Navigator client is a leading cable/IPTV middleware for digital set top boxes, which provides a JavaScript TV application development environment for broadcasters, network operators and media content providers. Rich applications are delivered using JavaScript, DHTML, CSS and a large library of custom APIs.
You will be designing, developing, and testing applications, as well as collaborating with a group of talented client, application and server developers. Your work will focus on developing applications that run on a variety of Set Top Boxes within the SeaChange Tv Navigator middleware platform. The applications will interact with the servers that support SeaChange’s middleware solution.
As a Content Engineer you will also be responsible for helping to implement customer application specifications.
Responsibilities You will work closely with the San Mateo, California, USA design and development team to create compelling TV and consumer device content. The content may be deployed as part of SeaChange’s reference applications platform developed over a period of months, or may be a critical demonstration in support of the sales and marketing teams. You will work closely with SeaChange’s customers to help them meet their performance and design goals in a timely manner. May involve travel and work in high pressure situations. This position is initially for a technical individual contributor and technical team lead. SeaChange is looking for an experienced engineer who will design the overall solutions architecture during the sales/product integration process. The key hire will identify functional requirements and critical interfaces, consult with internal/3 rd party resources to conceive, justify, and implement a solution to a business challenge. The position requires significant knowledge across multiple products, platforms, as well as broad knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, the competitive landscape and has the required proficiency skill levels to analyze the customers business and challenges and design a comprehensive solution that integrates smoothly into the customer’s environment. The successful candidate will also act as the subject matter expert for all API’s when working with internal and external development teams, contribute to and leverage best practices documentation, document overall strategic vision and create architecture or solutions based on identified solution gaps.
